Human society has been entering into the third industrial revolution era. The distributed generation, utilization and storage

technologies of renewable energy, and the smart energy network technologies will be the key technologies in the world’s energy

field. Since October 2013, Uniufa has been investing more than 100 million RMB to construct "biomass pellet fuel and distributed

IBPV”  project in Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province. It will become our production and demonstration base for our distributed biomass thermal energy services and distributed solar PV services.


Energy, Environment and Climate security is becoming one of the biggest challenges to China and the world sustainable

development. On the one hand, because every year we have a large amount of biomass decaying, uncontrolled burning results the methane  and other greenhouse gas emissions. On the other hand we are highly depending on coal. Better biomass energy is the

important measures to overcome the challenge of the energy, environment and climate security. Uniufa has established reliable

biomass pellet supply and service systems according to the distribution of biomass resources.


At present, the practical thermal supply for users are coming from coal fueled centralized CHP plants or natural gas fueled

distributed cogeneration plant or distributed boilers. The biomass pellet has equivalent heat value with normal coal with less one to

ten ash contents of coal and equivalent sulphur contents of natural gas. Due to the plants absorb the carbon dioxide in the process

of growth, biomass fuel is accounted green gas neutral during its combustion, it does not increase the greenhouse gas emission.

Biomass pellet fuel can be blended into coal or replace coal, natural gas heavy oil for combustion. It can meet the thermal demand

in  the clean manner. Therefore biomass pellet fuel is not only an effective way for large size coal-fired power plant to reduce its

greenhouse gas emissions, but also an ideal choice for distributed thermal users.
